This is how we enable sustainable mobility and help to prevent accidents caused by human error.YOUR ROLEJob Responsibilities:Should be a Software Architect responsible for Automotive Infotainment Android Product.Should independently own the overall Android SW Architecture & DesignAnalyzing Customer Requirements, Internal and Standard Requirements to create Software Architecture DesignEnsure the creation of software design document from architectural design by partnering with stakeholders like system engineer, SW team, SWPL, IT&V, electrical engineer.Participate in software architectural and software design reviewsParticipate in competency design, customer design reviews and deep dive discussions for any challenges faced in design/issuesDevelop reuse strategy for the product/projectParticipate in Product Strategy and Architecture Planning and support of Product Roadmap DevelopmentHelp start center for new business pursuits and customer engagement.Work with systems/customer towards defining functionality/requirements where gaps are identified.Single point of contact (technical) for internal team and Customer/external interfacesWorking with potential suppliers for new and upcoming technologies for Infotainment products.Should understand and involve in various KPIs including certification activities/process.Analysis and resolution of customer and internal reported systemic issuesBe abreast with current technology trend in Infotainment Products and handle stakeholders & customer requests.Monitor Android Automotive trends, roadmaps and incorporate in product SW roadmapYOUR BACKGROUNDKey Experience/Skill Requisites:Vehicle level knowledge of Infotainment products and ECUs that communicate with Infotainment Head UnitExperience in Infotainment technologies like Tuner, Media, Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, WiFi, Networking.At least 6+ years of Android development experience (Application, Services, HAL, BSP in Android)3+ years of experience as Android SW Architect role3+ years of experience in Automotive Infotainment domain3+ years of experience on Android Automotive OSExpertise in minimum Android 11/12 version.Latest Technology and trends in Android Automotive productsDeep architecture and development level knowledge on Infotainment Android Solutions.Expertise in Android Framework & Android Automotive Framework.Expertise on setting up Android AOSP build system for new productExpertise in Android Studio IDE Design, Development and Debugging.

Excellent Java, C, C++ programming skills.Excellent knowledge on Android App Development concepts and APIsExpertise in HIDL and HAL services design.Expertise in Android Security policiesExpertise in Android Product/Device/Board ConfigurationExpertise in Android Secure Boot, Android startup and initialization sequencesGood knowledge on Android BSPGood knowledge of performance optimizations in AndroidWorking Experience in Agile development, ASPICE process adherence on Architecture and traceability.Strong debugging/trouble-shooting skillsExpertise in Google Test Framework and testing frameworks used in Android like Junit, Mockito, Tradefed.Knowledge and experience in CTS, VTS requirements and compatibility issue analysisTools – GIT, Geritt, JIRA, Polarion, Confluence, Android Studio, Enterprise Architect (UML), VMWare, Coverity.Good analytical, problem solving skills.Good interpersonal and communication skillsHighly self-motivated and energetic.Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech / M.E. / M.Tech in Electronics, Communication/Computer Science /Instrumentation/Experience:10+ years and above of relevant experienceWhy join us?· You can grow at Aptiv.Aptiv provides an inclusive work environment where all individuals can grow and develop, regardless of gender, ethnicity or beliefs.· You can have an impact.
