QualificationsEssential Skills and Experience

  • A proven track record of delivering successful tax technology solutions across diverse ERP and system landscapes (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, or other ERPs).
  • Strong consulting skills, including gathering requirements, managing client expectations, and fostering client relationships.
  • An understanding of tax processes and compliance, with experience in indirect tax, e-invoicing, or reporting solutions.
  • Experience with tax technology tools and solutions such as tax engines (ONESOURCE, Vertex), e-invoicing platforms (DRC, Sovos, Pagero), or other automation tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand and evaluate the business impact of technical choices.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, with a knack for simplifying complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • Experience in project management, delivering high-quality outputs on time and within scope.

Desirable Skills

  • Hands-on experience with data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Alteryx, KNIME) and the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Familiarity with technical components of ERP systems, such as API integrations or customisations.
  • An understanding of emerging technologies and their application in the tax landscape, such as machine learning or robotic process automation (RPA).
  • Knowledge of local and global compliance regulations, including SAF-T, VAT reporting, and real-time reporting requirements.
