We are currently looking for an experienced mechanical engineer to work with the “Primary Components” department
This entity is responsible for carrying out the engineering activities related to the following equipment: tank, tank internals, primary piping, primary pumps, primary supports, storage rateliers and various tools of nuclear power plants.Job descriptionYour missions :For Installed Base projects (equipment behavior records, component replacement records, regulatory reference records, specific records) and large projects (EPRTM OL3, TSN, FA3, UK, EPR2) or research and development projects, we are looking for a mechanical engineer for mechanical design and justification studies in the “Primary Components” department capable of:Perform mechanical studies on primary components: tank, pressurizer, primary piping, tank internals, primary pumps, etc.Specify or perform mechanical calculations to finite elements: studies of resistance to pressure and external forces, fatigue studies, studies of sudden rupture, elastic or elastoplastic calculations, writing of calculation notes.Participate in the design of mechanical equipment on primary components: tank, pressurizer, primary piping, tank internals, primary pumps, etc.Interface with customers and/or security authorities.ProfileProfile:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or university equivalent.You have first experience in the following areas:Mechanical studies in nuclear or other industrial fields.Design of mechanical equipment.Mechanical sizing by numerical simulation (finite element calculations).Technical skills required:

  • Knowledge of general mechanics, structural mechanics.
  • Equipment design.
  • Mechanical calculations by the finite element method.
  • Ideally, knowledge of codes and standards (RCC-M, ASME, etc…)
