Your impact
As a Manager Finance & Performance, you’ll make an impact by:
- Advising and assisting our clients in optimising their:
- Finance function as a whole (upskilling, “fit to growth”)
- Accounting processes, both in the transactional (order to cash, procure to pay, record to report) and last-mile monthly closing process (consolidation, fast/smart close)
- Enterprise Performance Management (strategic planning, budgeting & forecasting, management reporting) design and implementation (processes and models)
- Activity-Based Costing
- Participating in performance improvement projects to provide tailor-made, creative and pragmatic solutions to address complex problems
- Identifying and creatively solving complex issues for the CFO’s Office, including the design and optimisation of Target Operating Models
- Managing a multidisciplinary project team and actively participating by taking ownership for key project deliverables
- Developing client proposals showing that you understand their requirements and are able to design a solution that meets their needs
- Managing client relationships and detecting commercial opportunities
About you
- University degree in Business Administration, Business Engineering, Economics or Computer Science
- 8 to 12 years of experience in large, international corporations
- Consulting and/or audit exposure is a plus, but not a requirement
- Working knowledge or relevant project experience in one of the following areas:
- Accounting
- Fast close
- Enterprise Performance Management
- Strategic planning, budgeting & forecasting
- Management reporting
- Margin controlling
- Financial modelling
- Audit
- Tool certification or exposure is an asset (e.g. Tagetik, Anaplan, Board or OneStream)
- True team spirit and eager to work in a client-focused, quality-driven environment
- Ready to manage projects on a daily basis, including the team management and coaching aspects. Previous experience doing so is mandatory
- Willingness to take ownership (i.e. key project deliverables or day-to-day tasks in your current role)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and attention to details
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, as well as French and/or Dutch
- Exposure to improvement initiatives related to finance processes, systems, organisation, working capital, cash flow, cost reduction, etc. is an asset
