Job Description

Responsible for developing standard costs, managing site-specific costing activities, overseeing inventory, performing cost allocations, and conducting manufacturing variance analysis. Investigate discrepancies in financial record and perform month-end close activities, including journal entries & reconciliations.Acts as a SAP expert for costing processes

Activities/Responsibilities:

• Performs month-end processes for businesses supported. Includes but not limited to inventory reconciliation, manufacturing variance analytics including purchase price variances from raw material purchases and reconciliation of general ledger accounts.
• Maintain inventory cycle count program and reporting for corporate compliance
• Participate in physical inventory counts to ensure the accuracy of inventory records.
• Adhoc analysis requested by management
• Ensure that costs are allocated according to the established procedures
• Responds to request for internal audit, external audit

Qualifications

• Accounting or Finance background (Bac+3/5)
• +5 years experience in manufacturing environment
• Experience in SAP preferred
• Fluent in English mandatory
• Strong attention to details
• Ability to change and to work in a changing environment
• Autonomy in regular activities
