Job Purpose

The Shipping & Receiving Operator coordinates shipping documents and reconciles production reporting daily; prepares transport documents for out of country shipments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
-Coordinate receipt, filing, and accuracy of shipping documents
-Prepare shipping documents, including out of country shipments.  Ensures required documents are accurately completed and maintained n an orderly file.
-Accurately and timely completes entries into  BAAN/SAP.
-Creates plan shipment documents
-Provides backup coverage for Logistics Specialist and other department employees when assigned.
-Must be able to operate a lift truck, and have or be able to obtain a forklift truck license
-Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

-High school diploma/GED from an accredited institution and at least 1-year experience in an administrative support role and or shipping receiving position at a manufacturing facility or distribution center
-Ability to use computer systems including MRP and MS office
-Ability to read and interpret documents in local language, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
-Ability to do mathematical functions, including add, subtract, multiply, divide, interpret Pareto Charts, Bar graphs, Flow charts, and other quality tools

-This position will work in an office setting, expect minimal physical demands.
-This position requires you to drive a company vehicle. Therefore, you must be able to pass the company’s driving requirements. Certain vehicles may also require a specific drivers license and have additional driving requirements.
