About MMI

MMI supports Christians serving in their armed forces in Africa, Europe, the Middle East and South Asia, to be a force for good, through a living faith in Jesus Christ. MMI encourages and teaches moral and ethical leadership and supports chaplains and military leaders on the front lines of conflict. See our website www.mmi.org.uk

We seek to achieve our mission through facilitating conferences, seminars, retreats, symposiums, training events and adventurous activities at local, national and international levels throughout the regions in which we operate.  When possible, MMI encourages military Christians to form a Military Christian Fellowship (MCF) in their country, bringing together believers from different denominational backgrounds in unity in accordance with Galatians 3:28, “…we are all one in Christ Jesus”.

MMI is one of three Principal Support Organisations (PSO) of the worldwide Association of Military Christian Fellowships (AMCF – www.amcf-int.org). Our sister PSOs are ACCTS USA (www.accts.org) and the Korean Military Support Organisation (www.mso.or.kr).

MMI is non-denominational, interacting with military believers from all expressions of Christianity. All MMI staff are part-time, some salaried, some not. MMI has a small Headquarters (HQ) and distributed regional teams, some of whom do not live in the UK.

Prayer is the foundation of everything MMI does. We pray and then we plan. Through the surrender of our personal ideas and agendas in prayer we seek to follow the plans God has for us as an organisation and as individuals.

The job holder should be committed to MMI’s vision and Basis of Belief, be able to demonstrate enthusiasm for the Christian purposes of the organisation and be able to live out, hold to, support and contribute to its Christian ethos.
