With 368 rooms, 2 restaurants, a spacious terrace, a beautiful bar and 14 meetings rooms… We could use your help in the kitchen and are looking for a fulltime Executive Chef!We are beautifully situated on the water and ideally located for the RAI Convention Centre, ArenA, ZiggoDome, the Zuidas and the city center. Given its location, just off the highway, it is easy to get to.Our hotel is part of the Accor hotel chain, a great advantage because it gives you many opportunities to grow within different hotels (Mercure, Novotel, ibis, Sofitel, Movenpick etc.!). In our hotel you will get the chance to learn and develop yourself.. You are part of an international team of currently around 60 colleagues. • Run the show in the kitchen, covering everything from banquets, a la carte and buffets.
• Lead our awesome kitchen crew with your infectious energy and leadership skills. We’re all about teamwork and making magic happen in the kitchen.
• Shake things up with some fresh menu ideas that’ll have guests coming back for more. Creativity is key here!
• We’re all about that ‘can do’ attitude. When challenges come your way, you meet them head-on with a smile and a killer solution.

Qualifications

• Got at least 5 years of experience rocking it as a Sous Chef or higher in the hospitality industry? Awesome, you’re exactly who we’re looking for!
• You’ve got great skills in hotel or catering environments.
• Show us what you’ve got when it comes to dreaming up amazing dishes that guests won’t forget.
• Having a great sense for food waste and corresponding food cost.
• Leading a team comes naturally to you. You inspire, motivate, and mentor like a pro.
• Understand the importance of interdepartmental relationships.
• You live and breathe culinary excellence. Mediocrity? Not in your vocabulary!
• You like to be here when things are buzzing and understand that flexibility is key.

Additional InformationWhat’s in it for you?

• Salary above the Collective Labor Agreement scale 8, this is between € 3.239,05 and € 4.174,57 based on your experience. At Accor we start from periodic 4 instead of 1;
• 25 holidays based on full-time (38-hour) working week;
• Excellent travel allowance starting at 5km with € 2,30 per day;
