EXCELLENT SERIES PRODUCER OPPORTUNITY:

ANTIQUES ROADSHOW

Antiques Roadshow is looking for a Series Producer to deliver the next run of this well-loved flagship BBC One series. Reporting to the Series Editor, this is a hands-on and high-profile role. 

The popularity of the Roadshow means it’s often in the spotlight, so sound editorial judgement is vital. This is a brilliant opportunity to work with an established team on one of the BBC’s premium programmes. 

In collaboration with the wider team, the SP will ensure robust plans are in place for each Roadshow event from H&S, to travel and logistics. The ability to direct camera crew is essential, as the SP will likely be required to supervise a multi-camera filming team on event days, plotting camera positions at each venue, as well as ensuring each crew delivers great content. Additionally, in collaboration with the Series Editor, you will shape the editorial approach of the show, briefing directors and helping manage the editorial and casting team. 

The SP will also be responsible for the first pass on programme content as it comes through the edit, working closely with the Edit Producers to help shape entertaining running orders and quickly identify any editorial issues. 

This role is offered on a freelance contract. The position starts in February or March on a part-time basis and there is a degree of flexibility, which can be discussed and expected to finish in August.
