Event Manager in Zaventem, Belgium

Would you like to lead a team that organises events from A-Z for IGT Devices International? To thrive in this role, you enjoy interacting with colleagues, customers and suppliers to create smoothly run events. You will lead a friendly and passionate team of event professionals working out of our Zaventem office. You are available to travel to the events when needed, and you drive the planning of the organisation of the events that require your teams support. As a team lead, you look for process improvements and ways to improve the organisation and execution of planned events. If you have a talent for organizing, leading people and getting things done, we are looking for you!

Your role:

• Responsible of a team of event specialists.

• Work with the internal stakeholders to plan all events for the year.

• Mentor junior personnel to ensure consistent and leading-edge brand experience by capturing and deploying best practices as necessary.

• Manage and drive forward the design and delivery of event related technology including registration sites and event apps and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a professional event execution.

• Form part of the broader international team to deliver events with a culture of high-performance teaming, achieving impact by managing the work-plan, timeline and budget of all elements of the program.

• Ensure a consistent brand experience through all facets of the events.

• Work closely with Legal, Procurement and Finance to ensure compliance for all events.

• Provide onsite support to manage various external vendors and agencies to ensure consistent delivery for their own events and supporting their colleagues.

• Excellent communication skills and used to communicate on different levels.

• A strong team player, comfortable working collaboratively, virtually and independently.

• Strategic brand, marketing and communications expertise, including global event design and delivery experience.

• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, managing multiple stakeholders, time zones and priorities effectively.

• Ability to navigate through change and manage ambiguity including cultural awareness.

• You are naturally well organised and capable of tracking the progress of multiple events.

• You have to be fluent in English, another European language is an advantage.
