Remuneration: £35,000 – £55,000 + performance related bonus

The role of the Estimator – Building Envelope will involve:

• Estimator position dealing with a high quality range of cladding and facade systems such as drylining, plastering, rendering, SFS, brickslip and other façade systems
• Liaise with clients and designers to gain a full understanding of project requirements
• Liaise with suppliers to obtain costs for materials, labour and plant and equipment
• Produce detailed take-offs and formalised quotations to clients
• Keeping internal database and documentation up to date
• Attending at mid-bid & post tender meetings
• Attend site as and when required (sites are mainly in and around London)
• Prioritise own work load to ensure deadlines are met

The ideal applicant will be an Estimator – Building Envelope with:

• Must have estimating experience within the building envelope market sector dealing with: drylining, plasterboards, plastering, render, SFS, brickslip and other façade systems
• Must have excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Must possess good knowledge of the building industry
• High levels of attention to detail
• Computer literate
• Ideally will have Chalkstring software experience
• A sound understanding of building legislation and controls
• Must be a driven, enthusiastic and proactive individual
