The RNCM is recognised as one of the world’s most progressive conservatoires, educating musicians to the highest level in an environment that’s creatively stimulating and rich in opportunity.We are looking for an experienced Estates Electrical Engineer to become part of our story, working within our Operations Team to provide an outstanding customer-facing and building-wide engineering service.Operating between the hours 07:30 and 16:00 Monday to Friday, the postholder will focus primarily on the practical delivery and coordination of a comprehensive, effective, and efficient planned and reactive maintenance service, covering all buildings, systems, and plant within the RNCM estate.The successful candidate will have practical experience in delivering electrical and mechanical systems maintenance support across a live estate, and a suitable electrical qualification. Please note that this role requires the postholder to be part of the on-call rota for a period of one week every 4 weeks.Having recently celebrated our 50th anniversary, the RNCM’s building blends striking 1970s architecture with modern, state-of-the-art facilities.
