The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting labor relations activities through effective coordination, document management, and translation services.Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and organize labor relations meetings, including scheduling, preparing agendas, and ensuring all necessary materials are available.
  • Collect, compile, and maintain comprehensive records and documentation related to labor relations.
  • Translate documents and communications between English and French to ensure clear and effective communication.
  • Serve as a point of contact for labor relations inquiries, providing timely and accurate informations.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations on labor relations matters for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support the labor relations team in the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a calendar of labor relations activities and ensure timely follow-up on pending issues.
  • Conduct research on labor laws and regulations to support compliance and provide relevant updates to the team.
  • Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative role within labor relations or human resources.
  • Fluent in English and French, both written and spoken.
  • Strong understanding of labor laws and regulations.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion, mindful of data sharing security policy and regulations (GDPR…).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
