At Siemens Gamesa, we are constantly seeking talented individuals to join our team and support our focus on energy transformation.Find out how you can make a difference at Siemens Gamesa: .We are looking for an (Senior)Equipment Planning and Portfolio Manager to join our global Offshore Execution Equipment Management (EQM) team, to strengthen the pro-active equipment portfolio management within the dynamic offshore execution environment.The OF EXE EQM team is responsible for on time, on quality and on budget delivery of tools, transport and installation equipment to our global offshore execution project portfolio, internal blade and nacelle factories and our tower vendors.How to contribute to our visionAs a (Senior) Equipment Planning and Portfolio Manager you will be the core interface to our project management and construction organization, to identify existing project portfolio risks based on scenario analysis and develop mitigation plans together with the equipment demand and supply managers. You will be closely working together with the EQM Management team and drive required portfolio decisions.More specifically your key tasks will include – but are not limited – to:

  • Identify and mitigate high impact equipment portfolio risks, in close alignment with the Head of OF Execution Equipment Management.
  • Develop appropriate mitigation strategies and drive them towards implementation.
  • Act as the core advisor for the Head of Offshore Equipment Management regarding all portfolio and risk related topics.
  • Perform scenario analysis within a dynamic offshore execution and sales project portfolio, and thereby drive decision taking on required CAPEX investments.
  • Act as the core interface for the Offshore Equipment organization to the Execution Project Portfolio Management & Planning Team
  • Develop the Equipment Planning, Risks and Portfolio Management landscape and drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensure Mid- and long-term planning of Low Value Investments and CAPEX for Offshore Equipment.

  • You hold a masters’ degree in business administration, management, or any similar qualification.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in portfolio & risk management in a large-scale supply chain organization, management advisory experience, e.g., from management consultancy or similar relevant experience.
  • Ability to identify risks and challenges and proven ability to develop mitigation strategies.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset, thriving on challenging the status quo with out-of-the-box solutions and creating a sustainable value for the company.
  • Experience with supply- and value chain management and optimization.
  • You are at ease with pro-actively navigating a complex stakeholder environment and building a sustainable network.
  • Excellent analytical and conceptual skills.
  • Pro-activeness, drive, and persistence.
  • The ability to communicate confidently in English across all levels of the organization including senior/executive management.
