Declining lithium-ion battery prices, increasing solar PV and wind farm installations and electric vehicles development are many factors driving the battery market.This role drives effective NHOA Energy project delivery in EMEA, with a main focus on Italy, but with other European countries as additional possibilities.We seek a person passionately committed to a sustainable energy future who will support the business development team in converting business opportunities and actively lead delivery of large-scale battery energy storage projects once in execution.As Project Manager you will be the primary contact for the client where matters of overall operations and work performance are concerned. You shall maintain close liaison with their counterparts in the Project Team and attempt to identify problem areas in time to secure corrective actions without affecting either the project budget or schedule.

The successful candidate shall be an experienced Project Manager, familiar with both Supply and full EPC contracts, industry general practices and technologies, and with a proven record of planning and managing large-scale projects on time and within the budget.He/She will be based in Italy and available to travel up to 50% of its time to project sites and based on project needs. Availability to be eventually assigned to execution of projects outside of the Italian territory (Europe) and related travel needs.Task and Duties:-Serve as point-of-contact for the Client during the project execution and maintain excellent customer relationships;-Management of the Project Team including the 4 work packages (Design and Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning) and with the support of project management support functions, applying Project Management best practices and NHOA Project Management Framework;-Ensure the tasks and the assigned human resources are well-scheduled and progress as planned;-Ensure that the project is brought to a successful completion and meets the required time, budget quality and project specifications;-Prepare, update and report project management plan, cost budget, project schedule, project receivables and contract completion milestones. Provide progress reports and other status updates to client and management as required;-Promote safety awareness and safe performance among all team members and commit to the overall responsibility for Safety, Health and Environment compliance to the Contract;-Supervise contract, risks and QHSE management of the project;-Support the business development team during tendering process, when needed, ensuring the project is set up for delivery success.RequirementsYour Background:-5 – 10 years’ experience in industry or energy project management with track record of success in EPC project. We favour experienced profiles with previous experiences in renewables (experience in energy storage system will be viewed favourably)-Working experience in several of the following areas: Coordination of large sized EPC projects, construction laws, labour laws, health and safety regulations, grid codes, contract negotiation, project control and finance, scheduling, progress measurement, risk assessment, change management, estimating process and planning, electronic document file management, etc.-Knowledge of Italian Grid Code (Allegato A79 of Terna), other European national grid codes and local electricity market structures are a plus-A proven knowledge of health and safety and specifically Italian Legislative Decree no. 81/08 and the different roles within it-Knowledge of building permit process and related administrative documentation in Italy-Knowledge of Microsoft Project and/or Primavera P6-Full proficiency (spoken and written) in Italian or Italian as a mother tongue-Fluent (spoken and written) in English-Fluent (spoken and written) in any other language other than Italian and English is a plus-Professional Membership such as PMP® certification is a plus.Other informationLocation: Hybrid work from your home in Italy and HQ in Milan, Piazzale Lodi.What we offer:
