Are you able to build strong relations to key stakeholders in our production and project organisation?If yes, you are the Environmental Partner we are looking for!The positionIn Biotech & Rare Disease (BRD) we are planning to expand our production facilities in Hillerød, to meet the future need of our expanding product pipeline. To assist in the project and to be a part of the operations after project completion we are looking for an Environmental Partner to be a part of our EHS group. You will work with Environmental engineering activities on a highly critical project & production with a high strategic impact for Novo Nordisk’s future business.This includes:

  • Driving goals related to environment and advising our stakeholders.
  • Helping build up competencies within environmental management in the growing team.
  • Analysing data, communicating, and acting as the managers wingman within your field.
  • Working with our engineering partners to ensure that the new design we make of our new facility ensures safety during Operation & Maintenance.
  • Coordinating different environmental tasks with various stakeholders, including EHS professionals.
  • Taking part in strategic company-wide initiatives, such as C4Z (Circular for Zero, which is the Novo Nordisk Corporate Environmental strategy).

This project will give you the scope to be involved in a new, high-profile greenfield project where you will have the opportunity to be involved in shaping a new department.
To ensure success in your work, you will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels such as Management, Project managers, EHS partners and colleagues in production.You will be part of the project organisation and you will report to the Manager for Projects, but your daily work will include a high degree of independent tasks in an organisation with very high complexity.QualificationsTo succeed in this role, you have:

  • An academic background within engineering, chemical engineering, sustainability or similar
  • Some years of experience in a role focused on the environment.
  • The ability to navigate a complex process landscape.
  • Excellent stakeholder and project management skills with good experience in planning, presenting data, and supporting and motivate key stakeholders on different level of seniority.
  • Knowledge about Danish Health & Safety legislation.
  • Knowledge in processes within the pharma industry or another GMP-regulated industry will be an advantage.
  • Full professional proficiency in English, while Danish is an advantage.

Our team is working to expand the Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) capacity of our Biotech production in Hillerød. You will become a part of one of the most significant expansion projects in Novo Nordisk – and when finished the facility will employ app. 340 colleagues. The highly automated facility will be equipped with state-of-the-art technology that is flexible to accommodate new processes and products.
