KEY ROLES

· Plan, manage and implement nature conservation and restoration activities.

· Deliver the involvement of other guests and staff in environmental tasks.

· Participate in the general running of the Centre, specifically instructing in the Outdoor Activities Education programme

· Deliver nature, conservation and environmental sessions to guests and staff

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

· Understanding of ecology and the management of environmental interventions

· A passion for outdoor activities and a commitment to develop your outdoor skill set

· It is a genuine occupational requirement that the holder of this post is a practising Christian whose lifestyle is consistent with the values and doctrine of the Christian faith

· As part of our commitment to safeguarding, the successful applicant will be required to become a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Scheme and the appointment will be subject to a satisfactory PVG Scheme Disclosure

DESIRABLE

· 1 or more of the following qualifications:

o MTUK Rock Climbing Instructor

o BCAB Paddlesport Leader

o MTUK Hill and Moorland Leader

o BC MTB Leader Level 2

o BASI Level 1

o RYA Dinghy Instructor

· Full Driving License, including D1
