Based in Brussels, Belgium, and staffed by 2.700 people and more than 60 nationalities, Toyota Motor Europe (TME) handles the wholesale marketing of Toyota and Lexus vehicles, parts & accessories, and manages Toyota’s European R&D, manufacturing, and engineering operations.We are excited to be transforming into a mobility company focusing on bringing even more happiness to our customers through various mobility solutions.Your team and your responsibilitiesTeam descriptionYou will be part of the Enterprise Architecture Pan-E team which currently serves as a cross functional team across European entities providing services like Business Strategy Support, Programme & Project Support and Technology Management.As an Enterprise Domain Architect towards the Manufacturing domain, you will map and own the overall domain capabilities, support & guide the business and IT teams to design, develop new business model and IT systems ensuring they meet the standards & frameworks definedYour responsibilitiesYou will be responsible for translating the needs of business into fit for purpose solutions and setting up the architectural roadmap of the domain in perfect alignment with the strategy and architecture defined to modernize and digitize business needs.Role And ResponsibilitiesFrom a Business Strategy Support

  • Understand business vision, strategy, and roadmaps of the responsible domain.
  • Your mission is to ensure that IT landscape within that domain is optimised and consistent by defining and steering changes to the overall IT architecture to meet business units’ which should be consistent with the domain strategy and the company strategy.
  • Document and own the capability model for the domain using ArchiMate as a modelling language

From a Project & Programme Support

  • Ensure consistency in projects in terms of assessment, design, and implementation by working with IT teams (Solution Architects & Technical leads)
  • Ensure that all projects and the system landscape, integrates together in a consistent, efficient, and sustainable way
  • Ensure IT architecture respects company technical standards, especially security & compliance.
  • Ensure teams follow the Enterprise Architecture governance processes
  • Ensure that the solution implemented is in line with the agreed and signed-off architecture during the execution of the project and validate and approve before Go Live

As an Enterprise Architect, you will

  • Contribute to the development of the IS strategic plan
  • Support in creating and maintaining the IS architectural standards and principles, steers the appropriate documentation and updates the company’s system of reference.
  • Contribute to the selection of new solutions which address the company’s needs, in line with the recommendations and solutions in place and with the IS strategy more globally.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree (preferably in an IT related domain) or equivalent of 5 to 10 years experience
  • You should be knowledgeable in the Software Development Lifecycle and ideally have come from a IT development background
  • Certified or hands-on experience of TOGAF, sAFE would be a great added advantage
  • Experience in a large organisation as an Enterprise Architect or Domain Architect serving a complex IT landscape
  • You have hands-on experience with Archimate, agile / scrum development methodologies and modelling techniques
