We’re here to create and harness knowledge, to deliver opportunity for everyone.About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for an Enquiries Assistant to join our Marketing, Communications and Student Recruitment department, working as part of the Enquiries Team within the Student Recruitment and Admissions service area.The main focus of this role is providing an outstanding customer experience for all users of this busy frontline service. This will include prospective students and applicants as well as key influencers and stakeholders to the University. You will handle a wide range of queries via live chat, email, telephone and in person. Enquiries typically include advising applicants on admissions processes and providing updates on applications, offering course information to prospective students as well as signposting to further resources. You will also play a key role in the support and delivery of broader student recruitment initiatives including promoting attendance at key events such as general open days, campus tours and faculty specific events.This role could be suitable for a recent graduate and provides an excellent opportunity for an individual with a positive attitude to join a friendly and professional team.For informal enquiries about this vacancy, you may wish to contact: Pippa Courtley, Enquiries Officer at .About YouAs Enquiries Assistant you will have:

• Proven experience of working within a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, delivering tailored information

• An excellent standard of written and spoken English

• Comfortable communicating in person and using a range of platforms, including phone, email and social media

• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with a positive attitude and an ability to remain calm and professional when facing challenging situations.
