Location: Southampton, Hampshire
Salary: £31,650 – £49,084 per annum (MPS/UPS)
Start Date: January 2025 (or as soon as possible)

• Teach English to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and innovative lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Inspire students to develop a love for literature and language while achieving academic success.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their learning journey.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.

What We’re Looking For

• A qualified teacher with QTS (or pending QTS for Early Career Teachers).
• Strong subject knowledge and a commitment to fostering a love for English in students.
• The ability to inspire and motivate students, creating a classroom culture of curiosity and achievement.
• Excellent classroom management and interpersonal skills.
• A team player who is dedicated to contributing to a collaborative and supportive department.
