We are an international team of more than 300 people and over 50 different nationalities, founded in the heart of sunny Barcelona.⭐ Role OverviewWe are on the look out for a Software Engineering Manager to lead and grow our international development team to optimize and exceed the team’s productivity and personal development.To excel in this role, aside from having strong technical expertise, you must be a people person who can lead by example and is passionate about motivating and inspiring others. \n⭐ How will you make an impact?

• Maximise team performance by leading and developing a strong engineering team through clear expectations, regular feedback, coaching, and career development plans. Foster their engagement, well-being, and growth in a supportive environment that aligns with team and company goals.
• Support the team in executing the company’s product roadmap, ensuring the high quality and timely delivery of top-notch features and improvements.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers and other stakeholders to understand business goals, customer needs, and market trends. Take the lead on crucial technical projects and initiatives that are pivotal to the success of the company.
• Manage budgets for teams and control running costs while ensuring operational excellence.
• Collaborate seamlessly with other cross-functional teams, including Design, Product, QA, and DevOps, to ensure smooth end-to-end product development and deployment processes.
• Cultivate a data-driven decision-making environment, establish and monitor quality indicators and measurements to uphold product quality and drive continuous improvement across engineering teams.
• Encourage innovation and experimentation in the engineering team. Continuously improve development processes for greater efficiency and agility.

• Proven experience building, leading and scaling development teams.
• Agile mindset in software development and experience managing agile teams and educating teams about agile principles and methodologies (e.g. experience with SCRUM or Kanban).
• Possesses strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Extensive experience as a developer.
• You are positive and committed with a ‘can-do’ attitude and a flexible approach.
• Experience in implementing reliable and efficient processes to accelerate development and improve quality.
• You are based in Barcelona or willing to relocate to Barcelona for this role.
