Job Description:National Oilwell Varco Subsea Production Systems (NOV SPS) specializes in designing and manufacturing flexible pipes and innovative products for the offshore oil and gas industry. Leveraging cutting-edge engineering and manufacturing technology, we form long-term partnerships with global contractors and oil companies.Engineering & Technology and Testing Department: Flexible pipes are designed to endure up to 30 years in harsh offshore environments. As part of product development, full-scale tests are conducted at our Brøndby and Kalundborg facilities to qualify products and validate methodologies. Our team consists of 15 Engineers and Designers located in Brøndby, Denmark, and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.As the Engineering Manager of ERD, you will lead a transatlantic engineering team based in Denmark and Brazil. You will support the Product Engineering & Methodology (PEM) and New Product Development departments by managing the enhancement, consolidation, and development of new end fitting solutions for flexible pipes. Reporting to the PEM Director, you will be the primary point of contact for ERD, collaborating with engineering teams, test facilities, and factories to ensure seamless project execution.Key Responsibilities:
- Execute, develop, and qualify equipment, flexible pipes, and structures while adhering to quality policies, HSE mindset, and integrity.
- Oversee multi-site product manufacturing, strengthening processes and relationships with suppliers, certification agents, and customers from various countries such as Brazil, the United Kingdom, France, Australia, and Norway.
- Chair the Steering Committee to guide the company toward achieving financial goals with a commercial projects portfolio and a development portfolio, including ROI assessment.
- Serve as a member of the Innovation Board and Technology Leadership Team.
Who Are You?
- You hold a Master’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Material Engineering with a solid mechanics background.
- You have over 10 years of experience in the Energy or Oil and Gas industry.
- You have more than 3 years of leadership experience.
