Job Description

Join our world-class team at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. and be an expert in vision systems. You will focus on automatic inspection (AVI) of vials and syringes, contributing to our plant’s success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Optimization and Implementation: Optimize existing recipes and implement new inspection recipes and machines to ensure flawless operation.

  • Customer Interaction: Assist the manager in resolving production issues and overseeing recipes for established products to ensure outstanding customer happiness.

  • Collaboration: Work with internal functions to continuously improve vision system recipes and reduce false rejects.

  • Technical Support: Coordinate the external technicians for interventions, either on-site or remotely.

  • Production Improvement: Optimize vision system configurations to achieve desired production yields.

  • Quality Assurance: Conduct checks and investigations for low yields or defect exceedances, adhering strictly to quality standards and regulations.

  • Documentation: Perform functional tests and prepare technical documents to support deviations, change control, and optimizations.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Education: Degree in engineering/scientific fields or a technical diploma.

  • Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with cGMP regulations.

  • Technical Skills: Understanding of vision systems operation.

  • Language Proficiency: Excellent proficiency in English.

  • Experience: Prior experience with automatic inspection machines and vision systems for pharma (e.g., Seidenader, Optrel, Innoscan, SEA Vision) is a plus.
