About ENTSO-EENTSO-E is the European Network of Transmission System Operators for Electricity. We coordinate the cross-border system operations, system development and electricity market activities of the 40 electricity transmission system operators (TSOs) which cover 36 countries. If yes, ENTSO-E is the right place for you.The successful candidate will work in the ENTSO-E Secretariat in Brussels, and report directly to the Strategic Communication Manager under the Policy Communication and Stakeholder Management Section (PCSM).As an Engagement Advisor, you will have key responsibilities for preparing and supporting all external engagements of ENTSO-E representatives. The Engagement Advisor is a key person for coordinating the input for the high-level engagements of the Main Office holders who are responsible for representing the association. As full member of the Communication team, you will also be supporting the Strategic Communication Manager in developing communication content and material for ENTSO-E engagement towards external and internal stakeholders.The role is based in Brussels with travel expected to Member TSOs and other organisations as needed.Your responsibilitesAs an Engagement Advisor, your main tasks and responsibilities are the following:

  • Develop material for ENTSO-E representation in external events (e.g. EU Forums, conferences, high-level meetings etc.) as required in the ENTSO-E Engagement Plan, under the direction and in close collaboration with the PCSM Head of Section, the Policy and Stakeholder Relationship manager and other sections.
  • Maintain and develop the Engagement Plan database ensuring accuracy and availability of relevant documentation with special attention to Agendas, Briefing Notes, slides and Internal Notes. This activity also covers regular updates of existing relevant SharePoint sites and proposals to implement improvements where possible.
  • Facilitate timely coordination between the external stakeholders and ENTSO-E representatives. Ensure a good information flow between all (internal and external) parties in preparation for speaking engagements.
  • Regularly liaise with the relevant Heads of Section to discuss activities and developments ensuring best practices and information sharing in this respect.
  • Ensure excellent members’ relations and effective communication with the Office Holders and personnel working for Member TSOs.
  • Support the Strategic Communications manager in tasks related to writing articles, post for social-media, press releases as part of supporting activities to engagement activities for ENTSO-E.
  • Support the Policy and Stakeholders manager in updating on a regular basis the internal stakeholder engagement tracker.
  • Provide weekly updates to the ENTSO-E management on upcoming external engagements.

Your profile

  • University degree, preferably in business and administration and/or communications and project management, with at least 5 years’ experience in a relevant position.
  • Experienced in organisational policies and processes including project management where possible in a relevant organisation.
  • Strong oral and writing skills in English with ability to produce presentation material.
  • Leadership, organisation, project management and planning skills, with expertise in multi-disciplinary projects, assessing priorities and task management under complex structures.
  • Strongly developed interpersonal skills with the highest integrity and ability to develop trust with Members.
  • Excellent communication skills, in particular at executive level, with ability to negotiate and influence senior management and board members.
  • Ability to work within and adapt to a multinational and multicultural professional environment.
  • Previous experience using SharePoint is desired.
