With more than 13,000 employees around the world, we are committed to using our energy and heart to drive a better tomorrow.An Energy Management Solutions Developer is a role in DevOps & Automation department for Global Energy Management of EDP which is responsible in the development and support of critical solutions for the business operation.EDP is looking for a qualified developer to design and implement solutions supporting Global Energy Management processes. Should be experienced in programming languages and good understanding of database data modelling and data integrity.The elected candidate must be up-to-date on the latest practices in database creation in order to develop, test, improve and maintain a new database of this department.Main Accountabilities:

• Planning and implementation (including unit testing and write technical documentation) of solutions mainly at the database layer (SQL development).
• Troubleshooting issues on behalf of the business users.
• Writing technical specifications on User Stories and execute acceptance tests.
• Ability to work on-call schedule to support business international teams.
• Planning and developing disaster recovery procedures to assure business continuity and availability.

Required Profile: * ACADEMIC SKILLS:

• Graduates in Computer Science, or similar with minimum of 2 years experience developing solutions involving programming languages and SQL development.

• LANGUAGE:

• Excellent written and spoken Spanish and English. Additional languages are a plus

• PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

• Strong experience as Database Developer in SQL.
• Programming experience working with .NET C#.
• Git, Azure knowledge is a plus.

• KNOWLEDGE:

• Strong experience as Database Developer in SQL.
• Programming experience working with .NET C#.
• Git, Azure knowledge is a plus.
• Experience in RPA Projects in Uipath Studio is a plus.
• Working experience with Agile Methodologies (Scrum Framework)
• Jira and Confluence knowledge is a plus.

• Ability to solve problems with a sense of ownership.
