As our Energy Data Analyst, you will be part of a professional team, whose priority is to ensure reliable operations to support production for the benefit of our patients. Additionally, you will assist the business in making well-informed and qualified decisions to support the future development of Novo Nordisk. This is achieved through access to both quantified and qualified energy data.You will play a significant role in identifying and removing risk through energy data management. You are expected to be able to create analyses that is backed up by data models to optimize and create synergies across sites in Novo Nordisk.Using data, you can simulate and forecast scenarios related to energy to aid in decision-making for future investment projects, which may involve determining the physical locations of sites or the placement of utilities on these sites.
Your tasks consist of, but is not limited to:

• Collection of data from various sources, including energy production, transmission and consumption. Also included is simulation data and data from predictive models
• Supporting the development of a data platform to create predictive models for training purposes, registration and simulations
• Communicating energy data with project managers and the business to ensure meaningful and smart solutions. This could be data reports, presentations or the use of dynamic dashboards and predictive models
• Having structured approach to maintaining and documenting data pipelines and products across platforms and businesses/projects – often in collaboration with external partners
• Supplying your knowledge and competencies to strategic and business development activities that are supported by energy data

Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you:

• Hold a master’s degree in data science or engineering, focused on energy data
• Have plus 3 years of experience working with energy data management from a previous position
• Have strong insights into the energy sector as a whole and consider new technologies as potential solutions to existing challenges
• Possess experience in data analysis, predictive models and ideally proficiency in using EnergyPro or Termis, and PowerBI or a comparable analytics tool

As a person, you are interested in learning, can support those around you and work in a structured manner. You have a strong focus on the end user and the ability to achieve our targets through your personal drive. We expect you to be comfortable in an extroverted environment and seek the collaboration between the Energy Data Team and our peers. Furthermore, you possess the skills to delve deeply into models while also communicating them clearly to those with less insight.

About the Department
Energy Data Team is anchored in Energy Solutions and work very closely with our sister team which is running the utilities on site across Denmark. We are currently 5 people including the Manager, and the 6th colleague is joining after summer holidays and we hope to grow the team to 7. We are engaged in reporting, forecasting and supporting business decisions based on energy data.Working at Novo Nordisk
