We are looking for an Energy Data analyst, who can help us make a significant difference between gathering, controlling and analyzing energy data from various sources.Apply today, and be part of a !The PositionAs our new colleague, you will be part of a professional team, who is gathering, validating and analyzing energy data from across our business – and the Novo Nordisk sites in Denmark.Our highest priority is ensuring stable operations to support production for the benefit of our patients. Also, in supporting the business in making the best and most qualified decisions to support the future development of Novo Nordisk. We do this via access to correct and validated energy data – quantified and qualified.As an Energy Data Analyst, you play a significant role in identifying and removing risk through energy data management. You are expected to be able to create analyses that is backed up by data models to optimize and create synergies across sites in Novo Nordisk.Through data you are able to simulate and forecast scenarios on energy to support decision making on future investment projects. This might include physical location of sites or utilities on sites. Your tasks consist of – but are not limited to:

  • Collection of data from various sources, including energy production, transmission and consumption. Also included is simulation data and data from predictive models.
  • Supporting the development of a data platform to create predictive models for training purposes, registration and simulations.
  • Communicating energy data with project manager and the business to ensure meaningful and smart solutions. This could be data reports, presentations or the use of dynamic dashboards and predictive models.
  • Structured approach to maintaining and documenting data pipelines and products across platforms and businesses/projects – often in collaboration with external partners.
  • Suply your knowledge and competencies to strategic and business development activities that are supported by energy data.

Qualifications:To succeed in this position, the ideal person will bring:

  • A degree in data science or engineering, focused on energy data.
  • Prior experience working with energy data management from a previous position.
  • Good insights into the energy sector as a whole and view new technologies as a solution to current problems.
  • Experience in data analysis and predictive models, ideally using Python, and have worked with and are an experienced user of EnergyPro, Termis or Aquis and preferably also PowerBi.

You are naturally focused on the end user and capable of reaching our targets through your own drive. You are comfortable in an extroverted environment and seek the collaboration between the Energy Data & Compliance team and our peers. You are capable of deep diving into models but also communicating them to those with less technical insights than you.The DepartmentEnergy Data & Compliance is anchored in Energy Solutions and work very closely with our sister teams who are running the utilities onsite across Denmark, developing concepts to ensure stable utility for our production sites. We are currently 8 people including the manager – we hope to make that 9.
