Our portfolio spans power, thermal and infrastructure management products, software and solutions, and is complemented by a network of nearly 250 service centers worldwide.We are now looking for a colleague to join our team in Warsaw, Poland as a End User Services Analyst.Job overview: 1st and 2nd level of internal user support for employees in Poland and other countries in Eastern Europe as a member of EMEA End user computing team. Overview of all IT equipment and services based on local business demands, and aligning them with corporate policy and procedures, making sure any business need or request is properly addressed. Participation in IT based projects focused on removal of technical debt and implementation of new technologies to provide better services. Providing hardware and software maintenance, training and consultation, and recommendations regarding future improvements and development based on the business needs.What kind of work will you be doing?
- Supporting IT: Provide timely IT support for Vertiv Employees, including troubleshooting and proactive problem prevention.
- Tracking Work: Track work and user requests through global ticketing system for efficient management.
- Managing Procurement: Manage procurement of IT equipment, software, and services, adhering to specifications and approval processes.
- Collaborating with IT: Collaborate with Global IT teams on projects, requests, and security policies.
- Administering Security: Administer corporate security measures, including antivirus protection and data retention policies.
- Implementing Security Measures: Implement and manage hard-drive encryption on corporate laptops for enhanced security.
- On-Call Support: Serve as on-call support for network outages, coordinating with global networking team for resolution.
- Maintaining Knowledge: Maintain hardware and software knowledge for local business needs; consult employees on technology use.
- Preparing and Installing: Prepare and install new IT equipment, software, and workstations to meet business requirements.
- Administering User Accounts: Administer user network accounts, passwords, and supervise network room maintenance.
What Would Be the Perfect Qualifications?
- Education: Bachelor´s degree in Information science/computer science/MIS.
- Experince: Fresh graduates to max. 2 years of experience.
- Technical skills:
- Excellent knowledge of windows operating system.
- Good knowledge of network technology and protocols.
- Troubleshooting of hardware and software problems.
- Active user of MS Office incl. Excel (A), Word (A), PowerPoint (A)
- Not mandatory but welcome: Microsoft, Cisco, ITIL or similar certification
- Practical skills: Good analytical skills, Assessment skills, Organizational skills
- Core competencies: good communication skills Initiative, Creative, Persuasive, Able to deal with conflict, Problem solving, Detail oriented, Analytical.
- Fluent in Polish and English.
Mandatory requirements:
- QMS, EMS, Health & Safety, Ethics, and ITC training
