UKG is seeking an experienced employment attorney to provide employment law support and advice primarily in the EMEA region, with particular focus on UK, Ireland, France, Bulgaria, and Germany, as part of a fun and fast-paced legal team at a dynamic company.

Key responsibilities may include:

• Advising business stakeholders on a broad range of employment law matters, including human resources, payroll, recruiting, compensation, and benefits.

• Collaborating with business stakeholders to investigate and resolve employment disputes

• Drafting and revising employment agreements, policies, and other employment-related documents

• Supporting employment litigation as necessary

• Managing relationship with outside counsel to ensure high-quality work product and cost-effective services

Basic Qualifications:

•UK or Ireland qualified employment attorney with excellent academic credentials

•Fluency in English required, fluency in French and/or German strongly preferred

•7-10 years of experience in employment law at a large multinational law firm and/or in-house with a global company

•Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations in EMEA, particularly UK, Ireland, France, Bulgaria, and Germany

•Experience handling employment litigation matters

Preferred Qualifications:

•Some knowledge of (or willingness to learn) employment laws and regulations in APAC region

•Excellent legal and business judgment with the ability to provide practical advice

•Excellent organizational and communication skills and ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

•Knowledge of software/technology industry preferred
