Join our team as “ EMEA IIoT/MES Presales Solution Consultant (m/f/d)” in one of the following countries: Belgium – Finland – Germany – Italy – Spain – Sweden.

You’ll help our customers drive digital innovation by becoming a trusted advisor to the customer able to speak with authority on our customer’s business issues, and about how Siemens can improve their business. Solution Consultants engage with customers and prospects to understand their high-level business and technical requirements as well as their existing information technology infrastructure and future IT projects to ensure that our proposal is interoperable, and that the overall solution will work within the context of their business.
Using knowledge of the customer’s business, industry best practices, engineering and manufacturing processes and competitive differentiation, you are able to deliver clear, concise and compelling demonstrations that clearly show the value of our proposed solutions. Where possible this is done using standard demonstration material, making sure the messaging is tailored to each specific customer.
Solution Consultants support the culture of knowledge sharing, by providing feedback on materials they use in the context of their pursuits, making any new materials they create available to others, sharing competitive knowledge and experience gained and by participating in other social collaboration activities.
What do you need to realize what matters

University degree in Science, Computer Science, Informatics or similar
-
Great communication skills in English
-
Experience selling software to end users and customers
-
Knowledge of IT and OT Infrastructure, OSI Reference Model

Basic knowledge of existing infrastructure providers and their IoT services for e.g. AWS, Azure, Alibaba
-
Basic knowledge of functions of telecommunication or networking system

Experience providing technical support/assistance

Experienced user of Salesforce and MS Office Pack

Knowledge of programming languages such as Java Script, Python is a plus as well as Basic knowledge of existing standard automation procols e.g. S7, OPC UA, Rockwell, Modbus…
Supporting IIoT/MES opportunities in EMEA region will require travel primarily in Europe, occasionally in Middle East and Southern Africa.
