The EMEA Event Monitoring Service Delivery Manager reports to the Global Event Monitoring Service Owner. The role serves as the single point of contact for the EMEA region’s event monitoring service and reports latest updates and issues to leadership. This role ensures applicable people, processes, and technology are adequately trained/maintained and aligned to approved Event Monitoring operating model and standards.Deloitte leads with purpose, solving complex issues for our clients and communities. Our people share a passion for igniting change and a strong service orientation that shapes our organization and those it supports.What will your day-to-day be like?As part of the Global Cybersecurity team, this professional:StrategicImplements Event Monitoring Service objectives based on the global strategy and cyber risk landscape.Enables consistency and adherence to Event Monitoring operating models and standards across the EMEA region’s people, process, and technology.Drives continuous improvement across the EMEA region’s Event Monitoring services.OperationalActs as the central point of contact for the EMEA region Event Monitoring service.Manages the day-to-day operations of the Event Monitoring Service.Drives the design and implementation of the Event Monitoring Service.Escalates key risks and issues to the Global Event Monitoring Service Owner which need special attention or hold urgency.Drives continuous improvement of the Event Monitoring Service.Relationship ManagementWorks closely with the Global Event Monitoring Service Owner ensuring consistency and driving alignment across the Service.Provides leadership and oversight to regional L3, L2, and L1 Analysts.Partners with Risk Advisory to deliver services.What do we expect from you?EducationBachelor’s degree: degree in business administration, a technology-related field, or equivalent education-related experience.Master’s degree preferred.Work experienceMinimum of 10 years of combined experience in the Information Security / Cybersecurity domain with a focus on security event monitoring.At least five years holding a management and leadership role.Proven track record and experience of the following in a highly complex and global organization:Maintaining and managing a central point of security information and event monitoring.Analyzing detected security events.Driving the triage and prioritization of events based on agreed criteria.CertificationProfessional security management certification strongly desirable, such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or other similar credentials.Member of IISP or have the qualification, skills and experience to become a member.Skills/abilitiesAbility to communicate strategic information security topics, policies and standards as well as risk-related concepts to technical and nontechnical audiences at various hierarchical levels.Sound knowledge of business management and an expert knowledge of information / cybersecurity strategy and governance.Strong knowledge and understanding of information security legal and regulatory requirements.Knowledge of common information security management frameworks, such as ISO/IEC 27001, COBIT, and NIST, including 800-53 and the Cybersecurity Framework.Experience interacting, presenting and working with C-level executives (CEO, CIO, etc.)Ability to manage a global team in a matrix environment.Ability to travel as needed up to 40%.How is it work at Deloitte?🤩 High-impact projects where you will have a long journey and learning experience☯️ A hybrid-flexible daily routine: you will have flexible hours and a good balance between remote work and teamwork in our offices or our clients’ offices⚽ Good atmosphere inside and outside the office: you will enjoy several team buildings per year, cultural and sports activities… and much more!🧘‍♀️ Comprehensive well-being: take care of yourself with our physical, mental, and financial health program… and with a medical team in the offices!🤲 Social impact: You can sign up for a large number of national and international volunteer opportunities and pro-bono projects where you can put your time and talent at the service of those who need it most🗣️ Culture of feedback and continuous learning: you will grow in an inclusive environment where equal opportunities and your personalized training plan will boost your development.
