Email Marketing Specialist

Location : Easton on the Hill / Hybrid

Salary: A£33,402 – A£39,665 per annum

Hours: 35 hours per week, 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday

The Role

This role will support their busy Email Marketing Manager in the delivery of their email marketing campaigns and communications activities to their global B2C and B2B audiences.

As a key member of their Digital Experience Team, you’ll work extensively with colleagues from their wider global marketing teams to build, implement, measure and optimise campaigns and automated communications on a continuous basis.

Working on their Eloqua marketing automation platform, you will not only have experience and understanding of email marketing and marketing automation but will also possess strong digital marketing skills and should be passionate about delivering an outstanding customer experience to engage their customers, drive revenue and build brand loyalty

Key Responsibilities

* Producing and executing their BAU email campaigns, including building emails from templates, creating new templates, short copywriting, asset coordination, QA & scheduling.
* Create, test, tag and schedule dynamic and personalised email campaigns, as per brand guidelines including automated communications.
* Support Email Marketing Manager and their Marketing Managers with data segmentation and campaign optimisation.
* Continuous improvement of their email templates to deliver more traffic and ensure email deliverability is optimal.
* Devising and executing A/B tests, collaborating on the testing calendar, recording results, and advising on improvements.
* Perform render testing across devices, email clients and ISPs to ensure emails are rendering correctly. Ensuring quality assurance for emails across all device types.
* Maintain an effective workflow, ensuring emails go out on time and to the highest standard.
* Contributing to campaign and channel analysis: target setting, measurement, reporting and testing.
* Support in-house platform training, as required, with global teams to ensure greater understanding of the functionality and capabilities of the platform.
* Communicate directly with other teams and departments to ensure that expectations are managed, are met and be able to pro-actively provide solutions to any issues that may arise.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential:

* Knowledge and experience working with email marketing platforms/marketing automation tools (such as Mailchimp, Eloqua, dotdigital, marketo, hubspot etc.)
* Practical experience of building and developing targeted automated marketing campaigns for B2C and B2B audiences
* Strong organisational skills
* Flexible and adaptable team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
* Excellent team player, with ability to work across teams in a matrix structure, while also possessing the ability to manage projects and tasks with minimal supervision
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills with high attention to detail

Desirable:

* Proven work experience in growing, engaging with, and analysing the performance of a large email marketing database.
* Passionate and up to date with the latest trends and best practices in marketing automation
* Technical literacy with familiarity in data processes and governance, including comprehensive knowledge of GDPR
