About the role

Electrical Technicians are primarily responsible for Carrying out routine maintenance tasks, ensuring the delivery of efficient and effective maintenance & repair, and should have a keen eye for problem solving. Following Health and Safety policy as well as ensuring it is adhered to on sites is a crucial element of life as a technician. You will own and drive asset care IMPROVE activity both directly at site and within the asset care community. Actively taking part in root cause problem solving activities and providing subject matter expertise to ensure required fixes are identified, actioned and implemented promptly. The successful candidate will work Closely with operations teams, CAPEX and other maintenance groups (Mech & C&I) to improve efficiency of operational assets

Key points you would be responsible for are:

  • Attend asset care/CAPEX/Silent season review meetings along with Maintenance Managers – providing specialist insight into plans

  • Deliver maintenance activities for respective engineering centre/site in accordance with a weekly/daily asset care delivery plan.

  • Ensuring the accurate and regular update of Maintenance Systems.

Ultimately, being a source of advice, knowledge, and having the ability to think on your feet, is the pinnacle of the day to day ways of working in this exciting and varied role.

This role is based around a standard working week, however it does include an on call rota which will require some weekend and evening work.

About You

Are you a time served electrician and have a passion for delivering high standards? Are you able to react quickly to unexpected problems and make fast paced decisions? If so then this may be just the role for you!

You will have highly great interpersonal, communication skills to develop strong and trusting relationships with the members of your team, showing the value of teamwork in relation to meeting high standards.
