Job Responsibilities

· Maintain, modify, test, service, fault find and repair various electrical equipment mainly in support of site infrastructure services which would typically include:

• Control Panel maintenance.

• Motors, pumps, inverters drive, conveyors, barriers, industrial doors

• Bay doors, dock levellers and wheel locks

• Testing and Inspecting (PAT, RCD’s & electrical installations)

• LV systems

• Carry out basic electrical installations as required.

• Internal and external lighting

• To aid and support a good working relationship with other team members to ensure completion of tasks.

Person Skills

• An Apprenticeship served Multiskilled or Electrical Bias

• PC literate and previous use of facilities maintenance planning tools preferred

• To be able to work on shifts and call out rota as required for holiday and absence cover within the team.

• Must be self-motivating, flexible, resilient, able and confident.

• Electrical qualifications to NVQ Lv3 or equivalent

• 18 th Edition Wiring Regulations

• Maintenance experience desirable

• Site electrical safety training will be provided.
