The Turbine Measurement Operation department works closely with project managers, skilled technicians, and the measurement system group to solve the tasks of providing data for validation of some of the worlds larges wind turbines. You will experience an enthusiastic and diverse work environment with a mixture of planned and unforeseen tasks. All together we are providing the experimental data from full scale testing of prototypes with the purpose of verification and validation of our wind turbines.How to contribute to our vision:As our new Electrical Measurement Engineer, you will work daily with wind turbine parts and various measurement and sensor technologies.In short, you will be:Designing and developing the electrical setups around measurement systems.Contribute to the establishment and maintenance of our electrical setups for sensor and measurement system.Work on quality improvements and ensuring of proper electrical protections. This contain shielding and ground of measurement signalsReview requirements.What you need to make a difference:Besides a passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change, we are also looking for a motivating team player, who is resilient, detail-oriented, responsible, and structured. You are motivated by providing quality results within the deadlines and are happy to work in a dynamic organization and environment.In addition, it is essential you have:A master’s degree in electrical engineering, or similar field related to electrical design for measurement techniques.Experience with trouble shooting in electrical designs, mainly related to EMC influenceHands-on experience with design of electrical design for measurements (e.g. strain or electrical).Knowledge of high voltage measurements and analysisA methodical and structured working approach.A desire to get involved in the practical aspects of measurements, and to undertake research to test or analyze the feasibility, design, operation, or performance of equipment, components, or systems.Experience with Python or Matlab would be an advantage.Knowledge of measurement of structural quantities, test execution (in situ or lab), measurement technology, sensor technology, would be preferred.You do not necessarily need vast work experience. Bright, motivated, and fresh minds with new perspectives are very welcome to apply. It is important that you are creative, curious, flexible, and willing to learn.It is also important that you have excellent English language skills, both written and spoken.
