Our client is looking to recruit a Lead Engineer with a comprehensive benefits package, including training and opportunities for rapid progression into management. This is a rare and excellent opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

– Foster an environment that supports teamwork, cooperation, service excellence, and personal success.
– Proactively manage Workspace Engineering Technicians by setting clear objectives and supporting them to achieve their goals.
– Communicate the account vision and purpose, translating it into deliverables and demonstrating their contribution.
– Provide coaching and mentoring to direct reports, guiding them to develop their own development plans and regularly reviewing their performance.
– Comply with all client contract requirements and meet or exceed Key Performance Indicators.
– Operate all systems within the buildings competently, effectively, and efficiently, including HV operations where required.
– Ensure regular plant inspections, work inspections, and audits to drive operational excellence across the site.
– Support the creation and adoption of standard and emergency operating procedures, providing training as necessary.
– Adhere to the account’s Risk & Safety work practices to mitigate the risk of service interruptions to the client’s operations.
– Coordinate, manage, and oversee vendors performing a wide range of workplace-related services on-site.
– Collaborate with the wider team to identify opportunities for improving technical service delivery to enhance the workplace service experience.
– Strive for continuous improvement, identifying and implementing service enhancements and adaptations.

Requirements:

– Level 3 in Electrical Engineering
– 18th Edition certification
– L8 Domestic certification
– Competent in the operation of evaporative cooling water systems and aware of Legionella regulations
– HV Authorised Person
– C&G 236 Parts 1 and 2
– Knowledgeable about current Health and Safety legislation relevant to safe working practices
