Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours – Hybrid Working & 1pm Finish on a Friday

Electrical Design Engineer required for a leading engineering and construction company delivering high value and innovative solutions. The role will suit those looking for a growing and progressive business offering training and career progression opportunities.

for the role candidates need to have electrical design experience in any industry. You need to be familiar with a 3D CAD package and hold a minimum of an HNC or equivalent in a relevant subject.

You’ll work in a talented multi-disciplinary team on cutting edge projects. Your role will be producing electrical designs to ensure smooth integration of all electrical systems. You will collaborate with mechanical designers, production, test and any other relevant parties required to ensure successful product delivery. There will be a requirement to travel occasionally to visit customers, approximately 2-3 times a month.

Training including the opportunity to obtain chartership is supported along with opportunities to advance into lead electrical roles, project engineer and sales positions. The company invest in their staff and place them at the heart of the company.

The Role in Summary:
– Produce conceptual designs and detailed designs
– Work closely with other design engineers to ensure successful project delivery
– Ensure all designs meet design and safety requirements
– Assist in testing and quality assurance measures
– Travel occasionally when needed
– BOM production
– Prepare quotations when needed

The Person Required:
– HNC minimum or equivalent qualification in a relevant subject
– Electrical design experience
– Proficient is 3D design
– Proficient with Microsoft
– Excellent communication skills
– Excellent time management and organisational skills
– Mechanical understanding
