We are preparing for an exciting transition to a new learning environment, Canvas, while continuing to provide support with Blackboard. Our goal is for our students have a consistently excellent experience of online and blended learning at the University of Manchester. We are now looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable eLearning Support Officer to be part of our eLearning team, providing support for staff across the University of Manchester. Working flexibly and collaboratively with academic, Professional Services, IT Services and other staff who are supporting teaching and learning, you will assist in the creation and delivery of high quality and effective online and blended learning to enhance education provision for our students.You will also assist eLearning Technologists and Support Assistants with the planning and delivery of training and the development of support resources.Successful candidates will have experience of working in eLearning or in a teaching and learning environment, with additional experience of developing and evaluating eLearning resources. An awareness of web-based technologies to optimise engagement and active learning and their use in higher education, is desirable.What you will get in return:
