We are looking for a safety professional, highly motivated and willing to take a step further in his career by joining our team. Exciting and challenging opportunity working in an American multinational chemical company. The candidate w
ill be part of a team of people with whom they will collaborate on updating and implementing safety and environmental for various Company activities.

He/she will report to the Safety
and
Environment Manager. The successful candidate will actively participate in the development of the safety team, helping with possible implementations/system changes, transition of activities and collaborate in the continuous process improvement.

This position is located in San Martino di Trecate (NO), Italy.

What will you be doing?

-Holds the position of HSE Office Assistant, collaborating with the RSPP in carrying out the tasks proper to the Prevention and Protection Service.
-Collaborates in the drafting of the company Training Plan, monitoring its timely implementation and legal deadlines.
-Provides workers with the information and training required by current regulations.
-Collaborates in the maintenance and improvement of the safety management system.
-Participates and collaborates in the investigation and management of safety non-conformities.
-Prepares the Audit Plan and conducts and/or participates in internal and external Audit activities.
-Conducts inspections of work environments to verify their conditions.
-Identifies risk factors, risk assessment and identification of measures for the safety and healthiness of work environments.
-Develops the preventive and protective measures referred to in the DVR, and the control systems for these measures.
-Develops safety procedures for the various company activities.

Who are You?

-Bachelor’s degree in chemical
, environmental, safety at the work or similar

engineering.
-Knowledge of legislation relating to chemical (REACH Regulation CLP Regulation, Biocide Regulation, etc.).
-Minimal experience in the same role.
-Advanced Excel skills.
-ASPP role in large, listed, multinational company is desirable.
-Knowledge of RIR Prevention regulations (Major Accident Risk according to the Seveso law) is preferred, as he/she will actively contribute to the management, implementation, updating of Management Systems.
-Knowledge of Environmental regulations (Legislative Decree 152/06) and the ISO 14001 standard is preferred.

We are Offering…
You will be employed with the National Contract of Chemists (CCNL Chimico) with the possibility to subscribe to the related Health and Pension funds (FASCHIM and FONCHIM).

As part of our team here you will receive a competitive base salary, you will participate in a generous performance related bonus scheme, as well as a yearly welfare plan.

You will receive a company laptop computer, and you will access to the company canteen.

Working time: 38 hours/week. Mon-Thu 8:30 -12:30, 13:30 -17:30, Fri 8:30 -12:30, 13:30 -15:30 with half an hour of morning (8:30 -9:00) flexibility guaranteed.
