Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and assertive leader to join our team as the EHS & Construction Safety Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for creating safe, sustainable, and compliant work environments on our major building site projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure excellence in health, safety, and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement safety strategies and processes for construction safety on building sites.
• Act as the primary point of contact for EHS stakeholders, ensuring effective communication with EHS networks and external partners.
• Drive initiatives aligned with the Circular for Zero Strategy and the client’s sustainability goals.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, with a focus on fire safety, construction safety, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Build and lead a strong team, providing mentorship and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Excel in a dynamic environment with direct communication while managing multiple priorities effectively.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years’ management experience in one or more of the following areas: Nature and Circular for Zero strategies, EHS & Design, Construction safety on building sites.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to assertively influence and manage stakeholders.
• A proactive and resilient attitude, thriving in direct and dynamic communication settings.
• Proven ability to make an impact and set clear priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in English (Danish is a plus).
