We combine local knowledge with our gigantic international network!Our thriving Environmental team is thrilled to announce a captivating opportunity for an EHS Consultant to contribute to diverse projects. The chosen candidate will be stationed at our Ghent office, collaborating within a dynamic team that engages in a wide spectrum of EHS projects for primarily private sector clients in Belgium, with occasional ventures into the broader Benelux region and abroad.Key responsibilities encompass, but are not confined to:

  • Application of pertinent and current environmental and health & safety legislations.
  • Conducting thorough audits.
  • Performing due diligence investigations.
  • Implementing EHS management systems.
  • Managing permitting processes.

Qualifications

  • Master or BSc degree in Environmental and Health and Safety Management or a similar field of study.
  • Approximately 2-5 years working experience within EHS consultancy or a similar sector and has solid knowledge of actual EHS legislation.
  • Confidence with working in a team and in a client facing role.
  • Willingness to travel to meet the needs of specific projects.
  • Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English.
