As an EHCP Coordinator you will play a pivotal role in the success of our students by:Ensuring the delivery of high quality support for students with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP) receiving High Needs Funding (HNF).Undertaking students annual reviews in line with statutory dutiesUndertaking training across curriculum areas to support the needs of students with EHCP and HNFMaintaining close links with curriculum areas to support and review students’ progress on an ongoing basisSupporting students transition into college and to support progression opportunities in line with student aspirationsPromoting opportunities for transitioning students to access the college prior to the start of their programmeLiaising with curriculum areas on an ongoing basis to ensure students achievement towards their programmes of study and EHCP outcomesUndertaking termly reviews with the student and curriculum area to support achievementAbout you:A Levels or equivalent qualification in relevant subjectEnglish and Maths or similar at GCSE grade A-C or equivalentGraduate and/or vocational training at an equivalent level in a relevant subject such as Education, Health and Social SciencesKnowledge of the SEND Code of Practice 2014Experience of working with young people with SEND whom are supported through EHCPExperience of working with a range of young people with Learning Difficulties and/or Disabilities within a supporting capacityFlexible approach to work and working times including ability to work occasional evenings and requirement to work five days a weekResponsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and for raising any concernsJob Description:£29,000 per annum, DOE and Qualifications
