Fast ApplyJob SummaryDetails of PositionBorn from the philosophy of the Speak group, the Speak School in Molfetta is a Trinity exam centre and Cambridge preparation centre that promotes highly communicative and dynamic learning. Speak offers an international working environment of 12 staff and teachers are supported by an experienced and qualified management team (DELTA, Cambridge Team Leader and Cambridge examiner). Speak also runs residential full immersion programmes for adults across Italy, summer camps for teens and online programmes for individual and corporate clients.For our school in Puglia (HQ), we are looking for an EFL teacher with experience of providing communicative, exciting and creative lessons across the levels and age ranges. We are particularly interested in applications from those with a passion for teaching Young Learners or experience in business English. The role involves teaching small classes (4-8 students) and individual students, both on-site and online.We are looking for a teacher to deliver up to a maximum of 24 hours of teaching and be involved in a 1-hour team meeting and 1-hour professional development session per week. All preparation time is paid for as part of the full-time contract and salary is guaranteed even in the case of not meeting the full quota of teaching hours.About Molfetta: Molfetta is a small costal town (60,000 pop.) on the Adriatic coast, around 25km north of Bari which is well connected to cities across Europe. Puglia is a beautiful region with lots to offer and Molfetta is well placed for day trips to historic towns and beaches, UNESCO sites etc. Living costs are relatively low for Italy and Speak will help with finding accommodation and settling as well as supporting you with all administrative requirements associated with your Italian contract.Degree RequiredTeaching experience: 1 yearsNative level English speaker preferredQualificationsEssential:– University degree
– CELTA/TEFL or equivalent
– Minimum 2 years of relevant experience post-qualification

– Further teaching qualification e.g. DELTA, PGCE
– Experience and/or interest in teaching Young Learners
– Experience and/or interest in teaching Business English
– Driving licenceSalary and Benefits– Academic support from senior Speak learning staff.
– Possibility of training as a Cambridge Speaking Examiner.
– Salary dependent on experience (between 1,300-1,500 EURO net guaranteed), yearly “13th salary” bonus (roughly 900 Euro) plus severance pay at the end of the contract (dependant on length of service).
– Teaching Monday to Friday only.
– Legal CCNL contract with all Italian NI contributions and taxes paid.
