Join us to make a real impact, contributing to a future where education and entrepreneurship converge to create opportunities and success stories.Key ResponsibilitiesModule Planning: Efficiently organise and oversee the academic calendar, ensuring all modules are planned with precision. This encompasses planning the teaching staff, rooms, activities such as assessments, and preparation of the contracts for the external teaching staff.Guest Speaker Arrangement: Plan guest speaker sessions. Manage communications and logistics for guest speakers, ensuring a seamless and enriching experience for both speakers and students.Hospitality and Welcome: Provide a warm and professional welcome to teachers and guest speakers, enhancing their experience and engagement with our university.Facility Management: Oversee lecture room planning and IT requirements, ensuring all facilities are primed for effective learning and teaching.Canvas Management: This position is responsible for uploading all content to the Canvas learning management system and serving as an onboarding and help desk for teachers, facilitating their adaptation to our digital learning environment.Classter System Management: You will be responsible for enrolling teachers, creating sessions, managing integrations, and supporting communication, ensuring a smooth operational flow.Light education project management: Manage extracurricular educational sessions (such as hackathons or non-degree courses) to ensure that different colleagues and external faculty members working on the project are all aligned and on time.What Your Week Would Look LikeYour week at Unknown University of Applied Sciences is diverse and engaging:You will start your day at 8.30 at one of our locations, Amsterdam or The HagueYou kick off by making sure all the classrooms are ready for the dayYou will chat with inspiring studentsYou will welcome the teaching staff and make sure they can start their lecture9.30 daily standup with the team about the challenges of the dayYou will reach out to the teaching staff to inquire about their availability for the next period and plan a few sessionsYou will make sure all the assignments are opened in CanvasYou will respond to the questions of the students and staff and help them effectively use Classter and CanvasYou will reach out to new people in our network to convince them to become a guest speakerYou will ensure the academic process’s operational side runs smoothly by sending reminders and How-to templates.We are searching for a candidate who is:Recently graduated or has up to 2 years of relevant work experience.Holding a HBO / Bachelor’s degree, preferably in operations management or a related field.Fluent in English, with strong communication skills.Tech savvy, willing to research and find ways to improve the existing operational systems in use (Canvas & Classter), independent, flexible, resilient, and customer-oriented.Strong ability in systematic and structured work.Enjoy working in both our Amsterdam and The Hague locations.Able to work effectively in a team and independently, with a proactive work attitude.Eager to take initiative and motivated to improve work, self, and the team’s environment.What We OfferA dynamic and inspiring work environment with a team that is dedicated to redefining the educational landscape.An informal and entrepreneurial work environment in a committed and impact-driven team.Opportunities for professional growth and development.
