Education Support Worker required on a permanent basis for SEMH school in NorthamptonAre you looking for a new education support position for this academic year?One of our client SEMH schools in the Northampton area are looking to appoint an Education Support Worker as soon as possible. This will be on a full time, permanent basis and the successful candidate will be salaried directly through the school.Role: Education Support WorkerLocation: Northampton, NorthamptonshireStart: ASAPContract: Full Time, PermanentSalary: Salary £23,940 per annumThe school is a small independent special school located close to the centre of Northampton, with class sizes of roughly 2 to 5 pupils. They are looking to appoint an Education Support Worker, who can provide individual support and supervision for pupils, encouraging their engagement in the learning process, working towards agreed aims and objectivesRequirements:

  • Experience of working with children and young people
  • An interest in supporting pupils to overcome barriers to learning
  • Ability to inspire, motivate and empathise with young people
  • High levels of motivation, commitment and enthusiasm
  • Good general standard of education to Level 2 including GCSE Grade 4 equivalent in English and Maths
  • You will be required to transport pupils so you must be able to drive and have access to your own car

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
