A leading recruitment agency is currently seeking a motivated and caring Early Years Teaching Assistant to support children in their early stages of education. • Assist with the delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
• Support children with their learning and development in both classroom and outdoor settings.
• Foster a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young learners.
• Help manage classroom activities and assist the lead teacher with day-to-day tasks.
• Provide support to individual children or small groups as needed.
• Promote positive behaviour and social skills development.
• Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues to support children’s progress.

Key Requirements:

• Previous experience working with young children (essential).
• Classroom experience (preferable).
• Strong understanding of early years education and development.
• Patient, empathetic, and able to build positive relationships with young children.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
• A DBS check or willingness to undergo one (required for working in schools).
• Relevant qualifications in Early Years Education or Childcare (desirable but not essential).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
