We have currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Drama Teacher to join an excellent school in Harrow. As a Drama Teacher, you will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing engaging drama lessons to students in primary or secondary education.   • Plan and deliver interactive and engaging drama lessons to students according to the national curriculum
  • Develop and implement schemes of work and lesson plans that cater to the needs of individual students
  • Assess and provide constructive feedback on students’ progress and performance
  • Create and direct school productions and performances
  • Collaborate with fellow teachers and professionals to develop cross-curricular projects
  • Stay up-to-date with current trends and developments in drama education
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Drama or a related field
  • Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent certification
  • Proven experience in teaching drama to primary or secondary students
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Passion for drama and the ability to motivate and inspire students
  • Organizational and time-management skills to effectively plan and manage lessons and productions.
