What does the role involve?

This is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract.

You will be involved in supporting our customers in keeping their vehicles on the road by ensuring minimal ‘downtime’. This will involve managing our fleet of Vans from their start-to-end journey. Attendance at the Trowbridge office is required at least 2 days per week once you have fully completed your training. Working patterns consist of an early shift (8:30-16:30) and, a late shift (9:00-17:30) with weekend work on a Saturday (on rotation).

Some of your key duties will include:

  • Organising any maintenance or repair work for scheduled or unscheduled work
  • Managing breakdowns and defects to ensure the vehicle is back on the road and processing recharges
  • Completing daily reports on bookings to track progress and updating our customers
  • Answering our customer calls and managing our shared inbox by responding to general enquiries

What are we looking for?

You’ve previously worked in a job that involves delivering excellent customer service and this comes naturally to you. You always adopt a can-do attitude and are confident in challenging where required to ensure the best possible outcome is received for the customer. You come with the ability to work on your own initiative as well as working as part of a team.

Also, we’re looking for the following:

  • Technical and mechanical awareness of Vans
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to deliver accurate work, with great attention to detail
  • Able to work well with ever-changing deadlines and remain calm under pressure
