If you are ready to make a difference and contribute to our life-changing mission, read on and apply today!The positionThe Downstream Process team are currently 15 professionals and technicians, working as Engineering and Operational Responsible. Our team members bring diverse backgrounds, experiences, and nationalities, fostering a rich and collaborative work environment.As a Downstream Manager in 25 L, at Novo Nordisk, your main responsibilities will be focused on:
- Manage, lead, and develop team members as part of the project organization matrix.
- Coordinate staffing and project progress in close collaboration with the downstream project work package owner up until the facility is ready for operation.
- Responsible for operational readiness within the downstream area together with the operational readiness team.
- Ensure right number and level of competencies in the team along the project phases and progressing into operations.
- Participate in commissioning and validation of new equipment.
The team is today establishing the downstream purification lines including validation of the equipment, getting the processes to work as intended and establishing working procedures. With time as the project progress, the role will develop to more operational focus to ensuring smooth operation of the facility when we go live with manufacturing.QualificationsTo be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
- An academic degree within Life Sciences, Engineering or similar.
- +2 years of demonstrated manager experience.
- Extensive experience with working in pharmaceutical production. API production experience is an advantage.
- Knowledge of API/mAB processes and planning is preferred.
- Experience from larger projects is an advantage.
- Full proficiency in written and spoken English.

You will become a part of one of the most significant expansion projects in Novo Nordisk – and when finished the facility will employ app. 340 colleagues. The highly automated facility will be equipped with state-of-the-art technology that is flexible to accommodate new processes and products. It will expand our capacity for our portfolio of clinical late phase products to serve more people living with serious chronic diseases including rare diseases.
