We are looking for kind and compassionate people to join Be Caring as Domestic Care Workers providing care across North Tyneside, in the North Shields and coastal areas, Shiremoor, Wallsend, Howdon, Hadrian Park and Battle Hill areas.

As a Domestic Care Worker, your role will includes completing shopping calls, housework calls and community enablement.

Pay

Working on shifts,

• £11.50 p/hr (block pay)

  New starter bonus & Refer a friend payment scheme – up to £300 each Working Hours and Shift Patterns

Join our team of  Domestic Care Workers. We will offer full-time hours:

• Monday-Friday (9am-5pm)

  The Role

You do not need care experience. If you have the right values, we will provide you with the training you need to be an outstanding Domestic Care Worker.

As a Domestic Care Worker, you will provide care and support to meet individual personal care needs. You will:

• Provide personal care that protects people’s dignity (when required)

• Promote independence using enabling approaches.

• Support people to meet their outcomes, involving families and professionals.

• Deliver personalised care through individual choice and control.

• Be a strong and effective communicator, documenting, reporting and sharing information with the right people at the right time.

  Induction Training

All training is fully funded, and you will be paid for your time to complete the training. As a Domestic Care Worker, you will be provided with a comprehensive induction training on:

• Community wellbeing, individual wellbeing and personal outcomes.

• Fluids and nutrition.

• Medication, moving and handling, basic life support and first aid.

• Infection prevention and control, health and safety.

• Professional boundaries, confidentiality, equality, and diversity.

• Safeguarding, mental health and capacity.

• Full induction and shadowing programme.

• Training to complete the Care Certificate.
